The purpose of the educational program. The program is aimed at training in-demand film and media personnel capable of creating a creative product using creative skills.
1.create journalistic works dedicated to cinema, theater (drama, opera, ballet, etc.) based on knowledge of history, modern trends in the development of theatrical art, psychology of communication with actors, representatives of other creative and technical services of theater and film studios;
2.write scripts of various genres and formats, focusing on the history and theory of cinematography; analyze the film and the plot,
indicating their artistic merits and weaknesses;
3.carry out various types of shooting (TV products, feature films or documentaries, commercials, video clips); analyze and select filming material, supervise the editing process and color correction; make production and management decisions;
4.conveying the story to the audience through music; identify the specifics of music for television, cinema, advertising; compose soundtracks;
5.create creative works of drama, using all the means of artistic expression in cinema; identify the specifics of the Kazakh film industry;
6.create new generation projects using computer graphics tools; work with various graphic programs of three-dimensional modeling to solve creative problems;
7.create informative film reviews, based on critical thinking and defending personal views; evaluate the beauty and harmony of plans, visuals, makeup, special effects, costumes;
8.create illustrations, animations, video games using digital technologies for modeling 3D characters and virtual space; apply digital effects, process film material, edit, dub;
9.effectively promote film and media projects by participating in all kinds of meetings with producers, festival selectors, film funds, "outings" for young filmmakers;
10.distinguish between relevant types of content for production, based on the requests of viewers; evaluate the creative and commercial potential of the project; navigate the media market;
11.evaluate a film from a psychological point of view; to identify the spiritual and sensual side of human existence; use social and multicultural differences to solve problems in professional activities, taking into account the norms of tolerance and impartiality in the coverage of events;
12.bring an individually creative, innovative component into professional activity, consciously developing one's personal and professional individuality.
