On 2024, the results of the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS WUR) were released.  Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has achieved impressive results in the international QS WUR ranking and took the 163th position among universities from around the world.

        In the QS World University Rankings: Eastern Europe and Central Asia (QS WUR EECA 2022), Al-Farabi KazNU is ranked 16th.

   Al-Farabi KazNU, transforming into a world-class research university, shows phenomenal success and is dynamically moving forward in all nominations of the world ranking.

       According to the results of the subject ranking "QS World University Ranking by Subject 2022" Al-Farabi KazNU improved his performance by taking 145th place, in which more than 1200 universities of the world were ranked in five subject areas. In 2021, the group of the best included 11 fields of study, in 2022 their number increased to 16. Thus, this year, Al – Farabi KazNU strengthened its performance in QS by Subject 2022.

      «QS Asia University Rankings 2023»

     Al-Farabi KazNU was included in the QS ranking of the Asian region of universities for the first time and took 44th place. Al-Farabi KazNU was also recognized as the first university in Central Asia, taking 1st place in the QS Asia University Rankings 2023: Central Asia. In the 2023 edition, Al-Farabi KazNU entered the top 6% in the QS Asia University Rankings.

     «QS Graduate Employability Rankings»

    Al-Farabi KazNU became the first university in Central Asia, which ranks 201-250 out of 550 universities in the Graduate Employability Rankings (QS Graduate Employability Rankings).

     «Times Higher Education»

     According to the results of the British agency "Times Higher Education", Al-Farabi KazNU occupies a position of 1001-1200, in the Asia University Rankings is ranked 401-500, THE Emerging Economies - 351-400, in THE Impact Rankings - 801-1000.

     «THE WUR by Subject»

      In the ranking "Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2023"  Al-Farabi KazNU took 1001-1200 place and improved his position:
