On November 6, 2025, the Bishkek Branch of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic acted as co-organizers of the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled:
“Current Issues of Preserving and Developing the National Culture of the Peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Eastern Countries in the Context of Globalization.”

The conference brought together scholars and experts from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Russia. The event was held in a hybrid format, uniting researchers in the fields of culture, philosophy, history, and international relations.

Participants' presentations highlighted key aspects of the interaction between cultural, humanitarian, and political factors in shaping the modern identity of Central Asian countries.

The conference program was organized into three sections, which discussed:

• challenges of preserving national identity in the context of globalization;

• transformation of cultural heritage and the role of education in cultural development;

• cultural diplomacy as a tool for strengthening international relations.

Faculty members and researchers of the Bishkek Branch of KazNU actively contributed to the discussions, presenting the results of their scientific work on international cooperation, intercultural dialogue, and humanitarian integration.

The outcomes of the conference emphasized that sustainable development of the cultural space of Central Asia is impossible without strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Participants underlined the important role universities play in promoting cultural diplomacy and preserving spiritual values in an increasingly globalized world.

The conference concluded with the awarding of certificates and letters of appreciation.
